That is the story of three mild individuals: Paul Rivers, an ailing mathematician lovelessly married to an English émigré; Christina Peck, an upper-middle-class suburban housewife, fortunately married and mom of two little woman; and Jack Jordan, an ex-convict who has present in his Christian religion the energy to lift a household. They are going to be introduced collectively by a horrible accident that can change their lives. By the ultimate body, none of them would be the identical as they’ll study harsh truths about love, religion, braveness, need and guilt, and the way likelihood can change our worlds irretrievably—endlessly.
